Transaction expands City Wide’s presence into Central Alberta and creates one of Western Canada’s largest towing companies
CALGARY, AB – March 20, 2017 – City Wide Towing & Recovery Service Ltd. (“City Wide” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets of Key Towing & Storage (Alberta) Ltd. (“Key” or “Key Towing”). Founded over 35 years ago, Key is a leading provider of vehicle recovery and storage services in Central Alberta and is the largest operator in the Red Deer region.
The combined entity will have a fleet of over 125 trucks and vehicles, making it one of the largest towing and recovery operators in Western Canada. Key expands City Wide’s presence into Central Alberta, allowing the Company to better serve its existing customer base as well as capitalise on new growth opportunities.
